FAQ

  • How does this help my real estate business?

By people seeing you provide value to your community, many will message you to ask you to help them buy or sell a house. You will be seen as a local authority.

  • Have I done this personally?

Yes! My group has 22,500 active members in a town of 32,000 and a county of 51,000. Effectively, almost every adult in my county that is online is in my group. It is truly remarkable to see how active this group has become. It accounts for about 2/3 of my real estate business.

  • Is there a strategy for doing this?

Yes! There is a way to grow a Facebook group in such a way that it develops into the town square without all the drama. And you--as the Admin--will effectively become the Digital Mayor.

  • Do I have to be a realtor to be the Digital Mayor of my town?

No. But lots of the material in this course will relate specifically to realtors. Insurance agents, mortgage brokers, etc can also use this strategy effectively.

  • Will this work in any town?

Maybe not. If your town is tiny with nothing going on to talk about then it may not work. If you live in a major city people tend to have less interest about the happenings in their town. Towns from 10,000 to 100,000 are probably optimal.

  • How long will it take before I start getting clients?

It usually doesn't take long before someone asks you to help buy or sell a home but the longer you are Digital Mayor the more momentum you will build.

  • How much work is it to by Digital Mayor?

There are days when I post several times and days when I don't post at all. If your group is growing as it should, there will always be someone to accept or reject as a new member.

  • Can more than one realtor use this course in the same town?

We try to limit the course to one per town. We do NOT want realtors using this course to compete with each other in the same town. We cannot guarantee that will not happen but we will not knowingly sell this course to two people in the same town.

  • Can I get help after I set up my Facebook group?

Yes. I will be available to answer questions and help you make your group the town square with you as the Digital Mayor. I am committed to your success.
